01

Our approach

We aim to make this website and its connected account, learning and giving applications usable by a wide range of people. Accessibility is part of ongoing design and content work. This statement describes the current preview; it is not a certification or a claim of full WCAG conformance.

02

Reading and navigation

Pages use headings, labelled controls and a skip-to-content link. You can move between links and controls with Tab, activate them with Enter or Space as appropriate, and close the search and accessibility dialogs with Escape. English and Turkish are available in the language switch; other languages are listed as coming soon. Browser zoom remains available.

03

Your display and motion preferences

Open the circular accessibility button at the lower left. Under Appearance, choose Light, Dark or Device for the entire website. Device follows your operating system’s color preference and responds when that setting changes. You can also adjust text size in three steps, enlarge the cursor, show tooltips, hide images, use a readable font, or highlight links. You can also change brightness and contrast, invert colors, switch to black and white, or select an optional color filter. The reading guide follows your pointer or keyboard focus. These display tools complement accessible content and browser tools. Reset settings restores the default tools and the Device theme preference. Preferences are stored only in this browser when local storage is available; if it is blocked, controls still work on the current page. Reduce motion stops decorative animations and automatic background videos. Your device’s reduced-motion preference always takes priority. Decorative clips are silent and convey no information that is unavailable in the accompanying text.

Areas still being reviewed

Formal assistive-technology and cross-device auditing is still pending. External websites, older source documents and administrator-uploaded educational media may have different accessibility characteristics. Captions, transcripts and accessible document alternatives should be assessed when each item is published. If an item prevents you from completing a task, please report the specific page and the alternative format you need.

05

Report an accessibility barrier

Email info@whml.org with the page address, what you were trying to do, the difficulty you encountered and, if you wish, your browser or assistive technology. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive health information. We will use the information to understand the barrier and consider a suitable alternative.

Statement review

Last updated: 20 October 2026. This statement will be reviewed as the website, content and connected applications change.
