Overview

Welcome to the natural sciences section of WHML.ORG! Discover the fundamental principles that govern our natural world. The World Health, Medical and Life Sciences Organization (WHML.ORG) is a non-profit organization that offers a globally influential platform in the field of natural sciences. Founded in the Netherlands in 2000 by professors, academics, scientists, and health professionals, WHML.ORG now operates in nine regions of the world. These regions are Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, the Caribbean, North America, Central America, and South America. WHML.ORG’s mission is to be a pioneering organization that promotes and supports education, research, publications, and volunteer activities in the field of natural sciences.

02

What are natural sciences?

Natural Sciences are a broad field of science that study nature and its operations. This field includes various disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, geology, astronomy, and environmental sciences. Natural Sciences conduct a systematic research process to understand the structure and functioning of the natural world, explain natural events, and use this knowledge for the benefit of humankind. Natural Sciences make significant contributions in many areas, from human health to environmental protection, energy production to technology.

03

Subfields of natural sciences

Physics

The branch of science that studies the fundamental properties of matter and energy and the relationships between them. It includes subfields such as classical physics, quantum physics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism.

Chemistry

The branch of science that studies the composition, structure, properties, and changes of matter. It includes subfields such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and physical chemistry.

Biology

The basic science that studies the structure, functions, growth, origins, evolution, and distribution of living organisms. It includes subfields such as cell biology, plant biology, and animal biology.

Geology

The branch of science that studies the structure, composition, and history of the Earth. It includes subfields such as mineralogy, petrology, paleontology, and seismology.

Astronomy

The branch of science that studies the universe, celestial bodies, and their movements. It includes subfields such as cosmology, astrophysics, and planetary science.

Environmental Sciences

The branch of science that studies the relationships between humans and their environment. It includes subfields such as ecology, environmental chemistry, environmental biology, and sustainability sciences.

Our organization provides a platform for researchers by publishing scientific journals and organizing international conferences. In this way, new discoveries and innovative methods are shared worldwide. Our scientific journals include peer-reviewed articles, research reports, and review papers. We offer research grants and scholarships, allowing young researchers to bring their projects to life.

06

Volunteering and civil society activities

WHML.ORG promotes volunteerism and civil society activities in the field of Natural Sciences. Our volunteers support communities around the world that lack access to science education and environmental protection services. These activities range from science education programs to environmental protection projects. Our volunteers contribute to efforts to increase the knowledge and environmental awareness of the community by sharing their knowledge and experience in the field of Natural Sciences.

07

International and national collaborations

The published source describes the following collaboration scope: WHML.ORG collaborates with various international and national scientific organizations worldwide. These collaborations aim to increase knowledge and resource sharing in the field of Natural Sciences. We work closely with the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations (UN), and other global health and science organizations to contribute to the development of global health and science policies. Additionally, we collaborate with local scientific organizations and universities to support the development of solutions to local science and environmental problems. The named relationships are retained as source-reported descriptions; the current agreement, project scope and status are confirmed through institutional records.

08

Membership and participation

Membership in WHML.ORG offers many advantages for professionals, academics, and students active in the field of Natural Sciences. Our members gain access to exclusive education programs, research resources, and publications. They also have the opportunity to participate in international conferences and seminars. Membership provides an ideal platform for anyone who wants to support their career development in the field of Natural Sciences and expand their professional networks.
